A Long Journey Home has received a Citation from the Legislators of Oklahoma, honoring the millions of Americans who served in the armed forces during the Vietnam War. Even if you did not go to Vietnam, you may have been a vital link to the many hundreds of thousands that did go.

It is vitally important to the lives touched by the devastating effect of that senseless war never be forgotten. A copy of A Long Journey Home was signed, dated and dedicated at the Vietnam wall, November 11, 1993 by a Native American Honor Guard Unit from Talequah, Oklahoma and is now a part of the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Museum.
